Apple prepares to introduce 27-inch iMacs
As the release date of the 27-inch iMac models that Apple will introduce next year, the leaks about it increase.
As we approach the end of the current year, technology companies seem to have already entered the next year. Because the leaks of the devices that are planned to be released in 2022 are shared one by one. Information about Apple's 27-inch iMac models and even a possible iMac Pro model began to emerge.
How will the 27-inch iMac models be designed?
Earlier this year, when Apple announced that the 24-inch iMac would be available in a range of fun colors, many noted its resemblance to the iMac G3, the original all-in-one desktop PC from 1998. If the latest report is correct, Apple may have launched a return to roots design overhaul for the entire iMac lineup.
According to published reports, Apple's upcoming 27-inch iMac will have a thinner exterior, just like the 24-inch model. It is also expected to be available in multiple colors just like its predecessor. Of course, this may not apply to the Pro model. In fact, the Pro series may have been discontinued, never to return.
It was said that Apple could launch the 27-inch iMac model similar to the Pro model, which is predicted to have black bezels. But that now seems unlikely. This model of the company is said to be similar in design to the 24-inch iMac and Pro Display XDR. As for color, it will look exactly like its predecessor.
Apple's new M series processors are shown as the biggest reason behind the removal of the Pro model. As we saw at the latest event, with the new chips joining us with the names M1 Pro and Max, the company has now stopped buying processors from its competitors.
Of course, we have to mention that these processors are above their competitors in terms of performance. They are not an AMD Threadripper though. However, Apple is putting a lot of thought into the M2 series chips, which are expected to be introduced next year. For this reason, even if it cannot beat the most powerful processor of its competitors, it can position itself in a very close position.
