Samsung: The chip crisis may continue until the second quarter of 2022
According to Canalys and TrendForce data, Samsung, which is the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, thinks that the global chip crisis will continue until the second quarter of 2022, and then the sectors affected by this situation will slowly start to recover.
In addition, the company stated that the supply shortage in processor and radio frequency chips will continue until the second half of 2022, but they will not be affected much because they take the necessary measures in this regard.
After the chip crisis broke out, almost all companies that appeared in the technology world began to stockpile chips for use in the future. Samsung, one of these companies, announced in a statement that it made a significant change in stock.
As it is known, manufacturers in the smartphone industry generally prefer to stock two-week chips. In this way, production can be ensured somehow. Continuing to work with the same understanding until now, Samsung has decided to double the stock time despite an extreme situation.
Of course, when Samsung and the chip crisis are mentioned, the first Galaxy S21 FE comes to mind. The smartphone, which turned into a snake story due to the crisis in question and was even canceled for a period, will be presented to users in January 2022 after a difficult process. The launch of the Galaxy S22 series, on the other hand, was postponed to February, according to reports.
