The designs of Apple Store product pages are getting customized

Apple will allow app developers to create customized pages on the Apple Store.

Apple announced during its WWDC21 event in June that it would allow app developers to create custom App Store product pages. This will also allow them to show different content such as icons, screenshots and descriptions to different people.

Partial access will be granted to application developers

Now developers will have access to statistics based on each product page to find what appeals to users the most. Additionally, they will have the option to share special pages via various links to highlight certain in-app events or features at a particular time.

Apple shared a post on the developer website announcing the availability of these features. He also said that developers all over the world can take advantage of the service offered starting today. The company explains what each of the new features aims for and does, with these words:

Product page optimization: Try alternate versions of your app's product page with different icons,    screenshots, and app previews to find out which gives the best results. Each edition is shown to a randomly selected percentage of eligible App Store users. Results appear in App Analytics. So you can set it to show the best performance to everyone in the App Store.

Custom product pages: Create additional versions of your app's product page to highlight specific features or content that can be discovered through URLs you share. Special product pages can contain different screenshots, app previews, and promotional text. They can also be fully localized. So you can showcase a particular sport, character, show, gameplay feature and more.

Apple charges an annual fee of $99 for participation in its developer program. However, the company allows programmers to publish their apps on all Apple App Store platforms. It also allows them to access developer beta builds of the company's operating systems, as well as take advantage of the latest relevant tools such as newly released special product pages.
