Microsoft May Lower 'Windows 11 System Requirements' That Are Annoying Some Users

Microsoft has made a new statement about the system requirements of Windows 11. Statements made by the company suggest that the requirements for Windows 11 may be changed. However, Microsoft continues to play its cards face down.

US-based technology giant Microsoft has made a new statement regarding the system requirements, which is one of the discussed issues of Windows 11. In this statement, the company mentioned how the system requirements are determined, and implied that the requirements announced for now may change in the coming periods. In addition, the application called PC Health Check, which tests whether computers support Windows 11, has been removed as of now.

According to a blog post by Microsoft, the company is aware of the reactions from users and is trying to shape its work in this direction. At this point, semiconductor manufacturers have also stepped in. Frankly, Microsoft's statements suggest that the current system requirements may change after the Insider program.

"Our system requirements are generally the same as Teams and Office"

In the statements made by Microsoft, it is mentioned that my announced system requirements are not actually high. Even giving an example at this point, the company says that the system requirements they have determined are at the same level as Office applications and Microsoft Teams application. As a matter of fact, Microsoft is right in this inference, but the main issue that users criticize is TPM 2.0 support.

Speaking of TPM 2.0; Microsoft does not clarify this issue in today's statements. Talking about what the TPM does in certain parts of the content and how it makes Windows 11 secure, the company does not explain what kind of module will be needed. Strangely, many systems with TPM 1.5 support also install without any errors during the Windows 11 upgrade. Considering all this, we can say that Microsoft is considering taking a step back.
